Overview
The Aalimiyah Course is a specialised Islamic education programme designed to offer in-depth understanding of the Holy Qur’an, blessed traditions of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, jurisprudence, exegesis, Arabic language and much more.
This comprehensive course nurtures a strong spiritual connection and ethical foundation. It fosters critical thinking and analytical skills, empowering students to interpret and apply noble Islamic teachings effectively.
At the end of the course, students are expected to have gained an in-depth understanding of the meaning, interpretation and commentary of the Holy Qur’an, narrations of Rasulullah ﷺ and other sources of Islamic knowledge. Students will also be proficient in oratory skills in English and Urdu, and have a professional standard of understanding in classical Arabic.
Curriculum
Recitation with Tajweed, memorisation, translation and in-depth exegesis (Tafseer)
Study of blessed Ahadith, including authentication, interpretation and application
Islamic legal rulings regarding worship, family law, transactions and methodologies of deriving rulings
Understanding of Aqeedah — concepts related to faith, creed and spirituality
Syntax (Nahw), morphology (Sarf), grammar and classical Arabic proficiency
Islamic history, Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ, logic and philosophy within an Islamic framework
Structure
6–8
6-year core course, with an optional 2-year Urdu language foundation (8 years total)

Daily assessment plus 3 written examinations throughout the year to track progress
Initial Phase — 3 Years
Students receive a certificate signifying a comprehensive understanding of Islamic and Arabic studies. Ideal for those seeking substantial grounding.
Extended Phase — 7 Years Total
In-depth mastery of Qur’anic studies, Hadith, Fiqh, Arabic proficiency and all essential subjects. Graduates emerge as fully qualified scholars.
The first two years (Urdu language) are not compulsory for students who wish to complete the full Alim class. The course is designed for both pre-16 and post-16 students.
Classes run daily from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Monday to Friday.
