Jamia is committed to promoting excellence in teaching, research and training. It offers post-graduate students the advantage of a friendly and attentive environment with opportunities to address issues by exercising critical judgment and self-discipline.
Jamia also aims at developing the local community through training, vocational education and pioneering new courses. The Institute has a positive approach to dialogue between faiths and cultures and has been recognised for its interfaith endeavours. At Jamia, students have a unique opportunity to learn about the challenges faced by the Muslim community in particular and humanity in general. It is an exciting time and Jamia is an exciting place to be in.

Cumbria Floods – Relief work
Jamiah students donated essential supplies to the victims of flood Desmond in Cumbria. A group of post 16 students then visited the affected areas to distribute and assist with the clean up operation. Efforts of our pupils were recognised by the Media click here
East Lancashire Hospitals – Putting a smile on the sick
Jamiah students kindly contributed gifts to the children’s unit at Blackburn Hospital.
Thank you for your kind donations to the children’s unit we are extremly grateful. This will be apreciated very much by children and families admitted to the ward.

Sweat Equity – Building home project with Habitat for Humanity
Jamiah students with Habitat for Humanity took part in a scheme that helps people on to the property ladder. A full day of hard work in Liverpool was a very exciting project for many of our students. Jamiah is very keen working with this charity as their aim is to bring diverse groups together to create a genuinely sustainable community.
